Portlandia Obscura No. 0 photo zine

$4.00

From the introduction:
During the two dozen years I’ve called Portland, Oregon home, I’ve been fascinated by the random and obscure that can be found throughout the city. Sometimes it’s a small thing that reveals something hidden or forgotten about the past. Sometimes it’s a form of art, created anonymously, placed inconspicuously. Sometimes it’s just plain weird. Whatever. I love it.

I ride the streets of the Rose City often accompanied by a camera loaded with black and white film. Bicycling and walking give me the opportunities to not just notice these little things, but the ability to immediately stop and record what I see. Doing the same while in a car is tough to impossible--you’re often traveling too fast to notice these things, and even if you did, you can’t slam the brakes and stop traffic to take the photograph.

This zine is small and specially priced. It should be the first in a series of more to come.

This 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" zine has 16 internal black and white pages with color cover.
